World of Coffee Fair 2022, to be held in Milan, Italy

In response to the Russian occupation of Ukraine, thousands of Ukrainians were forced to seek refuge in Poland and the PTAK convention center, where this year's World of Coffee event was to be held, was one of the government-run shelters that they moved.

With the decision to move the World of Coffee fair to Milan, the SCA hopes to alleviate some of the extra burden being carried by the people of Warsaw, while continuing to support the SCA delegations from Poland and the Czech Republic, who have been providing help those fleeing war.

The most relevant and significant of this is that the SCA maintains its commitment to donate 100% of the proceeds from the sale of World of Coffee tickets to Ukrainian coffee companies and professionals, a gesture worth admiring.

This is the first time World of Coffee has been held in Milan, and the association is pleased to announce the collaboration with the Milan Convention Center, a modern venue in the heart of the city.

In addition to the fair, the five World Coffee Championships: Latte Art, Coffee in Good Spirits, Cup Tasters, Cezve/Ibrik and Roasting, will also take place in Milan this year from 23-25 of June.

While these are challenging and unprecedented times, the SCA will continue to push forward and hope to bring all coffee lovers together at its two main events, the World of Coffee and the World Coffee Championships.
